My Review:

Sigh. I love Gayle Foreman. She just has a way of pulling you in and bringing the feels just right. This was no different, of course. 

Each of these characters are unique and going through completely different problems, yet they each find a comfort in the other.

Freya's career is falling apart before it even starts, Harun's relationship is over and his parents don't know he's gay, and Nathaniel...he's just very lost. 

I love how each of these kids has their own thing, but they don't try to drop it on the other. Their problems come out slowly throughout the day as they get to know each other. We learn a little bit more about each one as the chapters unfold. Their relationships began awkwardly (when Freya falls on Nathaniel), but I love the way that they are there for each other in some really tough situations through the day. They go from being scared kids, to being fearless and to being great friends. 

The difference in narratives keeps it interesting and always leaves you guessing. 

Perfect work from Gayle, as usual.
