My Review: 

First off, I don't know why it's taken me almost two years to read this book. For me, Huntley Fitzpatrick is an auto-read, so I'm not sure what happened. I loved My Life Next Door and was thrilled to be going back into that little world. 

I'll admit that I don't quite remember Tim from MLND, so I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked him as a character. Tim knows that he's messed up before, but he's determined to make it right. Alice is strong-willed and smart. Together...well, I liked them a lot together. 

Mostly I loved how supportive Alice is of Tim, no matter what. When his life kind of turns upside down she's there for him in a way that no one else is. In return, Tim does his best to treat her like a queen. And I think they both do a great job. 

I loved the twists and turns of this book, though the beginning was a little predictable. My heart broke for these characters as they learned to navigate this new territory. I do wish things had turned out differently in the end, but I know it's for the best. 

This is definitely going to tug at your heartstrings.
